Before you write

• Please don't send us your messages, screenshots of private conversations, or your backup. We don't need them to help, and keeping them off email protects you.
• Tell us your computer (Windows or Mac), your browser, your phone (iPhone or Android), and what the app showed.
• For a refund, include the email address you used at checkout.

Common fixes

• "This backup is encrypted": see turning off backup encryption.
• "Your browser blocked that folder": copy the backup folder to your Desktop and open the copy.
• Messages missing: see Messages in iCloud.
